After a really promising business presentation from The Bank of England last week, it’s reassuring that the UK business sector in the North East  is continuing its recovery.

Marketing & DesignWe started Vicki Stone Marketing in 2009 – the height of the recession. We founds that lots of companies were very cautious and many stopped or lowered their marketing activity and services at this time and a few years on.

However, lots of our clients continued to invest in marketing and communications, keeping them ahead of their competitors, which had a positive  impact on their brands. There has been lots of evidence to suggest that increasing marketing spend through a recession can have a long term positive effect on brands – see Millward Brown.

I am very excited to have  returned to the business after most of the year spent in-house as a Marketing Manager. We’re taking on some new clients already (before we even re-launch), so we’re looking forward to the remainder of the year and many years to come.

I’m looking forward to catching up with familiar and not-so-familiar faces and businesses as we continue to grow our business.
